Changing her life in 2021 was not a coincidence but a deep desire to continue travelling and sharing good times by welcoming travellers from all over the world to the Mas des Poules...

Gwenndoline

Gwenndoline has run restaurants, family businesses and the famous brasserie Le Vaudeville on the Place de la Bourse in Paris all her life, and finally the restaurant of the prestigious Lancaster Hotel, near the Champs Elysées...

Together, we made the same observation: Paris no longer had the same flavour, stress was constantly increasing, over-consumption and bitumen, among other things, were beginning to make us nauseous. It took a confinement in the middle of nowhere to make this big 180° turn and here we are in the heart of the vineyards, "restoring" this big farmhouse, surrounded by remarkable craftsmen, who sometimes taught us how to build a roof, to plaster a façade, to spray paint, and even to lay tiles!
Today we are ready and so happy to receive our guests in this house of happiness, so that they in turn can feel serenity and plenitude!

Simone

We adopted Simone in August 2021 when she was 10 months old and had already stayed with 3 foster families... I might as well tell you that she is the happiest girl in the world since she felt that the Mas des Poules was finally her haven of peace!
Her joy is expressed in a thousand and one ways, especially when she meets new guests, she wriggles in all directions and then looks like an adorable otter (so far nothing serious, but for those who do not appreciate this kind of manifestations, we can channel it). On the other hand, if dogs or cats get past the gate of the Mas, Simone becomes a bulldozer that digs furrows of excitement in our 2,500 m² garden!
So, with a broken heart, we have decided not to accept our four-legged friends, so that you can enjoy Simone at her best...
